BEST OF STREET
If you have any money left over after paying your taxes, this is where you should put it – straight into Nike, Adidas, Supreme and Palace, as it’s much better to have wavey garms, or whatever you want to call them, than life savings. From Adidas’ diced and spliced classics, to Supreme’s Hellraiser collab, there’s something for everyone to queue round the block for. Which you know they will. Here’s the best of spring streetwear.
NIKE LNDR CAMPAIGN VIDEO
Nike’s latest brilliant campaign video sees them showcase London’s diversity, in a three minute video called “Nothing Beats a Londoner.” Skepta, Little Simz and Kurupt FM share their perspective on the city in the neighborhoods of Dalston, Peckham and Brixton (covering both the East and South of the city), and talk about how the city’s inspired their creativity.
ADIDAS ORIGINALS x DANIELLE CATHARI
Dutch designer Danielle Cathari first came to Adidas’ attention when she sent out a VFILES winning collection made up of collaged Adidas track suits. The sports giant came calling shortly after, and now she’s created a collection with Adidas Originals, with Kendall Jenner serving as muse and inspiration. Cathari describes Jenner as sharing her personal vision for Adidas, one where iconic pieces are reimagined and spliced together.
Supreme have just unleashed their Spring/Summer look book upon the unsuspecting fanboy masses. At first look, there’s a brilliant bomber jacket covered in green, screaming skulls, some brilliant faux fur that almost looks like it’s been Fendi logo’d, and a denim jacket covered almost entirely in patches. Expect queues round the block at your local Supreme.
PALACE SPRING 18 + CAMPAIGN DAVID SIMS
Hot on the tails of their David Sims campaign, here’s every piece in Palace’s Spring look book. We’d like the shirt that comes in an almost op art, swirling print, a pink mackintosh, and errm, a dog collar and leash. Perfect for those with stylish dogs.
